I am a writer, historian, and doctoral researcher at the University of Oxford. My DPhil is focused on understanding everyday life in England during the Second World War, or more specifically, popular morale and social unity in wartime Hampshire. This website contains information on my research, related articles, book reviews and details of any upcoming events or publications. In addition to my academic work, I also write about a variety of different subjects with a particular emphasis on current affairs and contemporary British society.
